In the development stage, we provide assistance in respect of market feasibility, financial modeling and business planning prior to construction of the hotel or resort. Once a decision has been made to proceed we provide technical services covering project development and design advice as well as procurement services. In the months prior to the hotel opening we provide an on site pre-opening team headed by a seasoned opening general manager which focuses on putting operational policies, procedures and structures in place with a special emphasis on financial control, human resources development and training and sales and marketing.
Once the hotel or resort is open, the general manager and his team work from a plan agreed between the owner and Transera which is reviewed on a monthly basis. All hotels and resorts operate within proven company wide systems which provide corporate financial and procedural controls designed to monitor operating results and maximize performance and owner returns. Transera’s management philosophy is simple: hands-on hospitality. We combine strong centralized control and direction linked to focused sales activities at both the local hotel and international market level.
We manage a diverse portfolio with a flexible approach, speedy decision making in the face of today’s rapidly changing and challenging market conditions, and a core focus on long term sales relationships, MICE business and key corporate and government accounts while at the same time catering for the growing domestic FIT segment.
